About KZHAA

Our Story

Born from Unity, Built on Faith

The Kumasi Zongo Home & Abroad Unity Foundation (KZHAA) was established out of a deep desire to address the social, educational, and economic challenges faced by Zongo communities in Kumasi, Ghana.

What began as informal gatherings of concerned community members — both at home and in the diaspora — grew into a structured, faith-driven foundation committed to sustainable change. Guided by Islamic principles of compassion, justice, and collective responsibility, KZHAA now runs over 10 active community programs.

Today, our foundation is a bridge — connecting Zongo sons and daughters abroad to the home they love, channeling resources, skills, and prayers into the communities that shaped them.

What We Stand For

Mission, Vision & Values

🎯

Our Mission

To serve humanity by embodying the principles of Islam — fostering compassion, justice, and unity. We provide relief to those in need, empowering communities and promoting sustainable development through charity, education, and service guided by the Qur'an and Sunnah.

🔭

Our Vision

A world where every Zongo community thrives — where residents enjoy dignity, opportunity, and belonging regardless of where they live. We envision Zongo communities that are self-sufficient, well-educated, healthy, and deeply connected to their faith and heritage.

💎

Our Values

Compassion — Justice — Unity — Transparency — Faith — Service. These are not just words on a wall; they are the daily practice of every member, volunteer, and donor who walks with KZHAA on this journey.
